Knox
Petite Miniature Poodle
DOB: August 22, 2017
Weight: 11 lbs Height: 14"
We were super excited to welcome Knox as a member of our family, he's our only breeding dog that wasn't raised here as a puppy. He may be small, but mighty in his breeding experience, Knox has sired 3 litters prior to coming to our farm and has become a favorite breeding member here. Actually, he's had an eventful past living in Tampa and making an appearance on the FOX drama series The Resident, "Lost Love", (Season 1-Episode 9). In the 5th slide he's pictured with actress Emily VanCamp on the left side and his sister pups on the right.
Knox made the adjustment to farm life pretty well, he loves to roam the farm with the big dogs ... though the chickens and mooing are still a little foreign to him. He's an energetic fellow, fast, smart and affectionate.
He meets the standard for show quality . As a mini poodle, he's lean, but well proportioned. His coat is curly, dark cream color, with an full length tail. His muzzle is long, straight and fine. Knox comes from an impressive pedigree, as his parents are from champion bloodlines. Knox’s parents are both AKC registered Miniature Poodles. He is also registered with the American Kennel Club.
He received his heart and orthopedic evaluations from Lake Alfred Animal Hospital in Tampa, Florida. His genetic testing was completed by Paw Print Genetics. All of Knox's health evaluations will be reviewed by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), for full health clearances. Knox is up to date with his vaccinations, worming and flea/tick treatments.
